TRVLD was created to inspire people to explore more of the world. After visiting 55+ countries and planning group trips for 20+ travelers at a time, our founder realized two things: the perfect all-in-one suitcase didn’t exist, and many people wanted meaningful travel experiences without the stress of planning them alone.
Our solution started with a suitcase designed to spark curiosity. Every TRVLD bag features a built-in world map—created so travelers can mark the places they’ve been, share stories with the people they meet, and feel inspired to see more of the world. Paired with every must-have feature in one design, it's both a conversation starter and a tool built for real travel.
As TRVLD grew, our mission expanded beyond luggage. We now offer Travel Verified™ trip packages—experiences our team has personally tested to ensure they’re safe, seamless, and truly unforgettable. From Alaska to Africa, we do the groundwork so travelers can simply enjoy the adventure.

Connor Cornelius- Founder
A San Diego native, has now been to over 55 countries. He earned his Bachelor’s in Construction Engineering from SDSU and spent six years helping manage multi-million-dollar projects. Seeking more meaning and flexibility, he left his job to pursue an MBA at SDSU and explore the world. Known for organizing unforgettable group trips for 25+ people, his love for adventure inspired the creation of TRVLD—a travel brand offering thoughtfully designed suitcases and travel experiences for fellow explorers to share their adventures with the world.

Paul Hutchins- CFO & Operations
A dual graduate in Civil Engineering and Spanish from the University of Rhode Island, launched his Construction Management career in San Diego, managing multi-million-dollar projects on time and under budget. With expertise in financing, scheduling, and team coordination, he excels in optimizing value and efficiency. Inspired by his passion for travel, Paul partnered with Connor to co-found TRVLD, blending his operational expertise with a love for exploration to create a brand that enhances the travel experience.
Riley Martin- Product Manager
A former aerospace engineer from San Diego, Riley is the Product Manager behind the TRVLD suitcase. A passionate traveler with a love for discovering new experiences, Riley brings her engineering expertise and adventurous spirit to every design. Her mission is to craft innovative travel solutions that blend functionality, durability, and style, ensuring TRVLD products elevate every journey.
