Q: What if I’m not sure about my dates?
Your TRVLD planner will help determine the best dates during your call and be flexible with you.
Q: How long do I have to pay the invoice?
You’ll typically have 48–72 hours to secure your spot after receiving the invoice.
Q: When is the best time to see the Northern Lights?
The aurora is most active from late fall through early spring. While sightings can never be guaranteed, Fairbanks offers some of the highest odds in the world. Weather, cloud cover, and solar activity all affect visibility, but our lodge’s aurora alarms help ensure you won’t miss a moment.
Q: Can I customize the itinerary?
Yes! reservation includes a personalized planning call where we confirm dates, preferences, and optional add-ons before finalizing your itinerary.
This can include extra nights or winter activities such as ice fishing.
Q: What if I can’t see the Northern Lights?
The aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. However, Fairbanks offers excellent odds, and our team provides guidance to maximize your chances of a sighting. Staying for at least three nights significantly increases your odds, with a 90% chance of seeing the lights if you actively watch.
